About Us
The Bible has two main themes that are consistent in all of scripture and that is to Love the Lord with all of our hearts and minds and to love others as we love ourselves. Through the ages God has pursued the reconciliation of man to himself and person to person. Our mission in Kawannah Missions is to become facilitators of that reconciliation as mandated by the Lord.
Kawannah Missions is dedicated to empowering the Marginalized and Vulnerable in society to be self-reliant through spiritual, intellectual and economic empowerment.
We are working to achieve this goal through our child development program which ensures that every child gets an education, health care, and meals while working with the families to teach parents better parenting skills. We are also providing seminars to pastors, teachers and leaders with an emphasis on relational skills and leadership.
Our newest program, is an entrepreneurship school to train and equip young people to start and maintain a business or trade in an attempt to alleviate poverty.
KM maintains an office in the area of Gbawe in Accra, Ghana. The director of our program Rev. Ralph Adjaho, has been ministering and working in the area for over a decade.
The term Kawannah is a Hebrew term meaning “attention of the heart” or an intense focus on our spirit. In all of our efforts to assist others in their walk with Christ or assist in their psychological growth we begin with their primary connection to the Holy Spirit.
When we counsel we don’t only use wise psychological advice, but we start with a person’s connection to Christ and add in sound Psychological advice.
We use the same dynamic in our seminars to not only give information but to begin with where someone is walking with the Lord and interact with them on an experiential, to walk alongside each person to assist them on their journey to maturity.
